For over 25 years, I’ve been engaged in the field of natural health. My first job was at a local health food store called Good & Good For You. I nearly burned that store down trying to use ear candles with my coworker during a slow shift, but I also learned so much about how to safely recommend supplements to customers. I taught myself to cook with early Food Network shows and real food ingredients in tiny kitchens in my first apartments. Eventually, I earned my master’s degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). Now, I’m on the faculty there. I consult as a subject matter expert in the field of health sciences for educational publications. I’m a Licensed Dietitian–Nutritionist (DC, IL, MD) and a Certified Nutrition Specialist practitioner with practice rights in many additional states. I have worked with patients at the top integrative and functional medical practices in the Baltimore area, with parents through the Expectful app, and with clients suffering with eczema through Cleanbody. I serve on the Credential Council for the Board for the Certification of Nutrition Specialists (BCNS) and have been a BCNS-approved supervisor of CNS candidates for over five years.
In my clinical nutrition practice, I don’t recommend ear candles. I do provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) and individualized nutrition assessment, monitoring, and counseling in Baltimore and via telehealth. My functional and integrative practice offers an individualized, evidence-based approach to establishing sustainable healthy eating and lifestyle practices within the context of a therapeutic partnership. I will support you in connecting to food intuitively, mindfully, and joyfully!
Individualized Nutrition

I will gets to know your complexities, your lifestyle and habits, your biochemistry, and more to figure out what you should eat, how you should eat, and what I can do to help you make those goals a reality.
Functional Nutrition
My interventions target the underlying causes of disease and suboptimal health with wellness-based and systems-oriented methods.
Integrative Nutrition
I prioritize holistic-minded lifestyle interventions and complementary healing modalities.
